We are looking for a new church start pastor!
Rob Lyman 8/15/2008 2:38:33 AM
We believe that the mission field in Redwood City and the central San Francisco peninsula is ripe for the message of progressive Christianity, as embodied by the United Church of Christ and the Center for Progressive Christianity. In response, we are dedicating ourselves to the establishment of a new church community targeting the mission field of un-churched parents in our community.

Cally Rogers-Witte, Exec. Minister, in a letter to the congregation said, “I thank you with great joy for your generous gift of $100,000 to One Great Hour of Sharing.” Her letter of May 1 went on to say “The role of First Congregational Church in Redwood City is a shining example of bringing God’s message of love and hope to the local as well as worldwide community. Throughout your history, members of FCCRC have supported our mission of Christian outreach with compassion and generosity, and for that we are all most grateful. Your desire to honor and memorialize them in this most appropriate way will ensure that people in need will experience a better life. May God bless you for your generosity and continue to guide you in the future.” In a handwritten postscript, she wrote: “All I can say is, “WOW”!”
